Our story at BLUXOM begins as a Bluxom Salon in North Park in San Diego, California that was established in 2013. Offering walk in hair cuts and a small offering of hair care products.

Stacey Staley and Yura Prinko are a husband and wife team and founders of the new BLUXOM retail concept from Toronto, Canada. In 2020 the opportunity presented to purchase BLUXOM salon from previous owner. As pandemic began, so did our journey to California. Transforming the tired, little neighborhood salon into it’s full potential – an omni channel beauty and service company. 4 years later, BLUXOM has been reborn as a destination for niche blonding and hair extension services in San Diego and is a retailer of a high quality clean beauty products. We also have created and retail our own BLUXOM branded products online and in store. And we are just getting started!
BLUXOM BRANDED PRODUCTS
During the lockdown 2020 and 2021 when services were halted in Canada and California, the BLUXOM scented body oil, and hair scrunchies were born. We spent 2022 developing our online store and went live in 2023. You can now shop all your favorite clean beauty products and wellness products and BLUXOM branded products on this site. You can and discover new ones in person at our new beauty shop located inside Sola Salons at Carmel Mountain Plaza! I am also welcoming new guests for hair extensions and blonding services at this location.
